Sports Minute: Hawks F Parsons sustains concussion in wreck after practice
ATLANTA (AP) - Atlanta Hawks forward Chandler Parsons has been involved in a car wreck. The team says Parsons sustained a concussion and whiplash in Wednesday's automobile accident, which occurred after practice. Parsons will enter the NBA's concussion protocol and won't travel with the Hawks for Friday's game at San Antonio. Parsons is in his first and likely only season with Atlanta, which acquired him from Memphis last summer in a trade of overpriced players. He has played just five games this season, averaging 2.8 points.
