RIO GRANDE CITY – The Starr County district judge, as well as the county judge, will both keep their seats.

In April, the opponents of District Judge Baldemar Garza and County Judge Eloy Vera claimed irregularities invalidated the election results.

A judge ruled this week saying there was not enough evidence to merit another election.

The court declared Baldemar Garza and Eloy Vera the true winners.
