Starr Co. Phone Lines, 911 Systems Interrupted
RIO GRANDE CITY - Starr County officials said phone lines are still down. The issue also impacted the 911 system in the area.
The Starr County Sheriff’s Office said they set up a temporary number so people can call in case of an emergency.
The number is 210-401-9804.
So far, it’s unknown what caused the outage.
All county emergency phone lines were restored Saturday morning around 3 a.m.
