Starr County confirms 70 additional coronavirus cases
Starr County announced 70 new cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday.
13 of the new cases were reported on Tuesday, the other 57 were reported on Wednesday.
The latest numbers from Dr. Jose Vazquez, the Starr County health authority, brought the total number of cases to 457.
One death is pending to become official by state, according to Dr. Vazquez. There have been three confirmed coronavirus-related deaths in Starr County.
94 people have recovered. Another 360 people remain in isolation.
