State Parks to Waive Entrance Fees on Veteran's Day
In honor of Veteran's Day, entrance fees to state parks will be waived across Texas on Sunday.
In a statement, Rodney Franklin, the Interim Director for Texas Parks and Wildlife said:
"Welcoming visitors to state parks for free on Sunday, is our way of saying thanks to those who have served in the military and their families. We invite all Texans to connect with the outdoors and make state parks a part of their Veteran's Day weekend."
Fees still apply for camping and other specific activities.
