State Recovers More Than $1M in Delinquent Child Support Payments
WESLACO – The state has recovered more than $1 million in their efforts to crack down on delinquent child support payment so far this year.
The Attorney General’s Office said more than 3,000 parents have paid $1.7 million in payments as of March 31st.
Under the denial of vehicle registration renewal program, parents do not have to get completely caught up on the total amount of back child support owed.
Parents are requested to honor the terms of their payment plan with the child support division.
