Suspect Charged Following Raid on Harlingen Home
HARLINGEN – A suspect has been charged following a raid at a Harlingen home on Friday.
Police said 43-year-old Esequiel Gallegos Martinez is charged with possession of a controlled substance and three counts of abandoning and endangering a child.
Officers arrived at the home on the 600 block on T Street to execute a narcotics warrant.
The SWAT team was called in as a precaution.
Several people were detained during the search.
All but Martinez and a second suspect were let go.
The second suspect was eventually released after an investigation.
Martinez's bond was set at $80,000.
