Suspect in Aggravated Robbery in Alamo Arrested, Charged
NEAR ALAMO – A 26-year-old man is behind bars after he robbed an Alamo store at gunpoint.
The man, identified as Victor Javier Briseno, is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony
According to a Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Office press release, he entered a business located on the 1100 block of Broken Arrow Drive and demanded money.
Briseno discharged the weapon and left off with the cash register.
No injuries were reported.
He was later detained by multiple law enforcement agencies after a short pursuit in Donna.
Briseno is being held on a $30,000 cash surety bond.
