DONNA – The only suspect in a double murder in Donna is still on the run.

The crime happened at an apartment complex on Alberta Road in February.

27-year-old Isai Verela is accused of gunning down 26-year-old Felisha Solis and 30-year-old Jose Alfredo Zuniga.

Police said Solis’ two children were inside the apartment at the time of the shooting. They were not hurt.

Investigators said Verela possibly fled to Mexico.
