RIO GRANDE CITY – Teaching and Mentoring Communities, a migrant program for children, will no longer receive federal assistance as of Thursday.

TMC is now working alongside the Office of Head Start temporarily until they receive a permanent grant.

In a press release, TMC says they “will do everything possible to ensure that services to children and families are executed without interruption.”
