CENTRAL
AUSTIN: Water lightly stained; 54-63 degrees; 0.76 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs. Sunfish are slow. Catfish are fair on cut or live baitfish and nightcrawlers.
BASTROP: Water stained; 60-64 degrees. Black bass are good on green pumpkin spinnerbaits, crankbaits, Rat-L-Traps, and soft plastics. Crappie are good on minnows and black/blue tube jigs over brush piles. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.
BELTON: Water murky; 59-63 degrees; 0.95 feet high. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin crankbaits and Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on blue jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night in 25 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and hot dogs. Yellow catfish are slow.
BROWNWOOD: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.23 feet high. Black bass are good on black/blue jigs, crankbaits, and soft plastic worms over brush piles. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies off lighted docks. Crappie are fair on Li'l Fishies and minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers over baited holes. Yellow catfish are slow.
BUCHANAN: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 1.98 feet low. Black bass are fair suspending Carolina rigged black lizards, Rattlin' Rogues, and pumpkinseed jigs along ledges in 12-20 feet. Striped bass are fair trolling white/chartreuse Curbs striper jigs and Rattlin' Rogues. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows over brush piles in 12-15 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.
CANYON LAKE: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.27 feet high. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged lizards in 15-20 feet, chartreuse Rat-L-Traps, and pumpkinseed soft plastics along break lines and ledges. Striped bass are fair trolling white striper jigs and vertically jigging Pirk Minnows. White bass are fair jigging Pirk Minnows along the main river channel at mid lake. Smallmouth bass are fair on drop shot worms along ledges in 10-25 feet. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs upriver. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.
COLEMAN: Water murky; 59-61 degrees; 0.10 feet low. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are good on chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.
COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.
FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are good on watermelon, green pumpkin, and redbug Carolina rigged soft plastics off deep points. Channel and blue catfish are slow.
GRANBURY: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.08 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastics, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are slow.
GRANGER: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 0.34 feet high. Black bass are fair on jigs and spinnerbaits along the river channel. White bass are fair on white grubs in the river below Dickerson's Bottom. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night upriver. Blue catfish are fair on shad and prepared baits. Yellow catfish are slow.
LBJ: Water murky; 59-63 degrees; 0.72 feet low. Black bass are good on green pumpkin worms, PBJ colored jigs, and watermelon tubes along docks and seawalls. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Spoiler Shads in the channel. Crappie are fair on minnows in brush piles. Channel catfish are fair on minnows and worms. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.
NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 58-62 degrees; 0.41 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair on spoons and Li'l Fishies. Crappie are fair on white tube jigs and minnows. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.
PROCTOR: Water murky; 61-65 degrees; 0.23 feet high. Black bass are fair on deep running crankbaits and spinnerbaits off points. Striped bass are fair on live shad. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles in 10-15 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on live shad and goldfish. Yellow catfish are slow.
SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 62-66 degrees; 0.04 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse/black Rat-L-Traps and soft plastics. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
STILLHOUSE HOLLOW: Water murky; 61-65 degrees; 0.47 feet high. Black bass are fair on dark soft plastics and crankbaits. Hybrid striper are fair on spoons. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
TRAVIS: Water murky; 59-63 degrees; 0.18 feet high. Black bass are good on chrome spoons, chartreuse worms, and firetiger crankbaits in 15-35 feet. Striped bass are fair on shad crankbaits and chrome spoons in 32-50 feet. White bass are good on minnows, white grubs, and chrome spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows and pink tube jigs in 15-30 feet. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and bloodbait. Yellow catfish are slow.
WALTER E. LONG: Water murky. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are good on chartreuse striper jigs and silver slabs. White bass are good on minnows and silver slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.
WHITNEY: Water murky; 58-62 degrees; 1.32 feet low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse striper jigs. White bass are fair on Li'l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and stinkbait.
NORTHEAST
ATHENS: Water clear; 56-61 degrees; 0.55 feet high. Black bass are slow on weightless Senkos, Carolina rigged lizards and Texas rigged worms. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.
BENBROOK: Water stained; 54-58 degrees; 1.22 feet high. Black bass are slow on squarebill crankbaits, shakeyhead worms and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.
BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 0.27 feet high. Black bass are good on shakeyhead worms, bladed jigs and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
BONHAM: Water stained; 54-58 degrees; 0.09 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, spinnerbaits, and shakeyhead worms. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
BRIDGEPORT: Water lightly stained; 55-59 degrees: 0.49 feet high. Black bass are slow on spinnerbaits, shakeyhead worms and medium crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs and minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.
CADDO: Water lightly stained; 57-62 degrees; 1.80 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged creature baits, bladed jigs and green pumpkin flipping jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and cut shad.
CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 55-59 degrees, 0.02 feet high. Black bass are slow on shakeyhead worms, weightless Flukes and Texas rigged worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs.
COOPER: Water stained; 56-61 degrees; 0.74 feet high. Black bass are slow on swim jigs, Texas rigged creature baits and bladed jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Hybrid striper and white bass are good on slabs.
EAGLE MOUNTAIN: Water lightly stained; 55-59 degrees; 1.35 feet high. Black bass are fair on weightless Senkos, shallow crankbaits, and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines.
FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are good on Texas rigged craws, swim jigs and spinnerbaits. No report on other species.
FORK: Water lightly stained; 57-60 degrees; 0.24 feet low. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, weightless Senkos and bladed jigs. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 55-58 degrees; 0.95 feet high. Black bass are good on weightless Senkos, shakeyhead worms and spinnerbaits. White bass and hybrid bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
JOE POOL: Water stained; 56-59 degrees; 0.01 feet low. Black bass are good on Flukes, Texas rigged craws and bladed jigs. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 5.53 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, lipless crankbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.
SOUTH
AMISTAD: Water murky; 63-67 degrees; 23.17 feet low. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits, crankbaits, jerkbaits, and soft plastics. Striped bass are good on slabs and small crankbaits under birds. White bass are fair on slabs and small crankbaits under birds. Catfish are fair on prepared bait over baited holes. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
BRAUNIG: Water murky. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on silver striper jigs near the pier. Redfish are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Blue catfish are fair on shrimp and cut bait.
CALAVERAS: Water murky. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed worms, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on spoons and jigs near the dam. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers and shrimp near the railroad trestle. Yellow catfish are slow.
CHOKE CANYON: Water murky; 61-65 degrees; 14.10 feet low. Black bass are fair on soft plastic worms and lizards, and flipping jigs in the grass. White bass are good on small spinnerbaits and Rat-L-Traps off the bank in the river. Crappie are slow. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on punchbait. Yellow catfish are fair on live perch.
COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 63 degrees in the main lake, 89 degrees at the hot water discharge, 67-71 degrees in main lake; 0.15 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse crankbaits, soft plastics, and spinnerbaits in 4-8 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch in 8-10 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.
CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 62-67 degrees; 0.13 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live or dead shad.
FALCON: Water murky; 61-65 degrees; 25.73 feet low. Black bass are good on soft plastics and spinnerbaits in shallow areas. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are very good on frozen shrimp and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.
TEXANA: Water stained; 58-64 degrees; 0.17 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on jerkbaits and Texas rigs. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
SOUTHEAST
CONROE: Water murky; 59-63 degrees; 0.01 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse Rat-L-Traps and soft plastics. Striped bass are good on silver spoons. Crappie are slow. Catfish are slow.
GIBBONS CREEK: Water murky. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Crappie are slow. Catfish are good on shrimp and stinkbait.
HOUSTON COUNTY: Water murky; 63-67 degrees; 0.30 feet high. Black bass to 6 pounds are fair on green soft plastic lizards. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on blue tube jigs and live minnows. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.
LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 59-63 degrees; 0.74 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse/white spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Blue catfish are good on cut bait and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.
SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 61-65 degrees; 4.38 feet high. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastics, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair on live minnows and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Bream are fair on worms. Catfish are slow.
STEINHAGEN: 1.07 feet low. No report available.
TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 60-64 degrees; 0.70 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/black soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and pink tube jigs. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shrimp and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.
PANHANDLE
GREENBELT: Water off color; 48-56 degrees; 36.32 feet low. Black bass are slow. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.
MACKENZIE: Water stained; 47-55 degrees; 78.63 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers. Few fishermen are out due to the cold weather.
MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 48-57 degrees; 49.11 feet low. No reports on black or smallmouth bass. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream are slow. Channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.
WEST
ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake, stained up the river; 48-56 degrees; 5.73 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair with some pre-spawn movement. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut and live bait.
ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 55-61 degrees; 0.14 feet high. Black bass are fair with bucks moving shallow and females in pre-spawn. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.
COLORADO CITY: Water fairly clear; 55-63 degrees; 12.76 feet low. Black bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps, Texas rigs and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.
FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 56-63 degrees; 0.53 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.
HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 52-58 degrees; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are slow to fair on medium running shad pattern crankbaits, Texas rigs and chatterbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.
NASWORTHY: Water stained; 53-61 degrees; 0.73 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on jigs and live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on stinkbait, live bait and nightcrawlers.
OAK CREEK: Water stained; 52-59 degrees; 0.19 feet high. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.
O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 55-63 degrees; 15.92 feet low. Black bass are fair and moving shallow. Crappie are fair on live minnows - staging and moving shallow. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.
POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 55-64 degrees; 0.07 feet high. Black bass are slow on drop shot rigs, medium running crankbaits and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and Road Runners. White bass are fair. Striped bass are fair. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.
SPENCE: Water off color; 56-64 degrees; 36.39 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers.
STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 55-62 degrees; 0.68 feet high. Black bass are fair on soft plastics. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Blue catfish are fair on cut and live bait.
SWEETWATER: Water stained; 54-62 degrees; 0.19 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.
WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 49-57 degrees; 23.40 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs and shad pattern crankbaits. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut and live bait.
COASTAL
NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Redfish are good in the marsh on topwaters and spoons.
SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good over shell in 3-4 feet of water. Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Redfish are good in the marsh on shad and shrimp.
BOLIVAR: Trout are fair on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Down South Lures and Gamblers. Black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass on live shrimp.
TRINITY BAY: Trout are fair along the upper reaches of the bay with soft plastics. Redfish are fair around the Spillway on shrimp and crabs.
EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on MirrOlures and Soft Dines. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Redfish are fair in the marsh around points on shrimp and Gulps.
WEST GALVESTON BAY: Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair to good at the jetty on live bait. Trout are fair for waders in the afternoon on Corkies and Lit'l Johns.
TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on Dollar Reef on live shrimp. Redfish are fair in Moses Lake on mullet and shrimp. Black drum are good around the dike on crabs.
FREEPORT: Trout are fair to good at San Luis Pass on shrimp. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Trout and redfish are fair at the jetties on live shrimp and finger mullet.
EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout and redfish are good for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on Brown Cedar Flats on live shrimp.
WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake on shrimp and crabs. Trout are fair on shell and grass on soft plastics. Redfish and black drum are fair to good at Shell Island on live shrimp.
PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and redfish are fair over sand and grass on soft plastics. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.
ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on the Estes Flats on shrimp and mullet.
PORT ARANSAS: Redfish and black drum are fair to good at East Flats and around Dagger Island on shrimp and crabs. Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp.
CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp.
BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on Gamblers and topwaters while wading sand and grass. Trout are good at night in the Land Cut on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in the grass on the King Ranch shoreline on small topwaters and Gulps.
PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on Corkies and Double D's around sand and grass while wading. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on soft plastics.
SOUTH PADRE: Trout are fair to good for waders around the spoil island on DOA Shrimp and live shrimp. Redfish are fair while drifting sand and grass on Gulps and live shrimp under a popping cork.
PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Redfish are fair to good in while drifting flats on topwaters and Gulps. Black drum are good over reefs on shrimp.
