CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water stained; 76-83 degrees; 0.73 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters, Trick Worms on a shakyhead, Texas rigs Bandit Rat-L-Traps. Sunfish are fair to good on cut nightcrawlers and kernel corn. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and hot dogs.

BASTROP: Water stained; 76-80 degrees. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on liver, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water murky; 75-79 degrees; 2.24 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair on slabs under lights at night. Crappie are good on minnows under lights at night. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 0.76 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon Rat-L-Traps and spinnerbaits over grass flats, and on black/chartreuse soft plastic worms with chartreuse tails near the rocks. Hybrid striper are fair on shad. White bass are good on Li'l Fishies and perch colored crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs in 10-16 feet. Channel catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 73-77 degrees; 0.03 feet high. Black bass are fair on weightless wacky rigged green pumpkin Whacky Sticks with chartreuse tails, watermelon topwaters, and Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps in 5-15 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on Pet Spoons and jigging Pirk Minnows in 10-20 feet. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are fair on live bait and cut bait. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 1.18 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged watermelon Whacky Sticks and pumpkinseed Curb's Erratic jigs in 6-15 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are slow. Crappie are fair on white tube jigs and live minnows. Channel catfish are fair on live bait. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

COLEMAN: Water stained; 73-77 degrees; 0.52 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water stained. Black bass are fair on topwaters and buzzbaits early, and on chartreuse soft plastics over grass. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp and perch.

GRANBURY: Water stained; 74-78 degrees; 0.69 feet low. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastic worms and lizards, and on chartreuse crankbaits. Striped bass are good on minnows and silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and Li'l Fishies. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and shrimp.

GRANGER: Water murky; 76-80 degrees; 1.67 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are fair on slab spoons on main lake ridges and humps. Crappie are very good on minnow jigs over main lake brush piles. Blue catfish are fair on prepared bait on rod & reel, and on trotlines baited with shad and Zote soap. Yellow catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch.

LBJ: Water stained; 75-79 degrees; 0.91 feet low. Black bass are fair on Bleeding Shad Rat-L-Traps and weightless green pumpkin wacky rigged Whacky Sticks along break lines of flats early in 4-10 feet. White bass are fair trolling Shad Raps. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs in 10 feet. Channel catfish are good on minnows and dipbait. Yellow and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and carp.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 78-82 degrees; 6.63 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 74-78 degrees; 2.74 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse crankbaits and soft plastics early and late. Striped bass are good on live shad. White bass are good on minnows and perch colored spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and pink tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines and juglines baited with perch. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.

NORTHEAST

BENBROOK: Water stained to muddy; 77-81 degrees; 1.30 feet high. Black bass are fair on squarebill crankbaits, bladed jigs and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water stained; 79-83 degrees; 0.10 feet high. Black bass are good on hollow body frogs, Flukes and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

White bass are fair on live minnows, jigging spoons, and small white crankbaits. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are very good on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water stained. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are fair down rigging spoons near the dam and jetty. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp, cheesebait, and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

CALAVERAS: Water stained. Black bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are good on live bait along the crappie wall and the dam. Channel catfish are good on liver and shad near the railroad trestle. Blue catfish are fair on shrimp and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water stained; 79-83 degrees; 14.16 feet low. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Drum are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on punchbait and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 78 degrees in the main lake, 100 degrees at the hot water discharge, 67-71 degrees in main lake; 0.13 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastics and perch colored topwaters. Striped bass are fair on silver striper jigs. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 79-84 degrees; 0.16 feet high. Black bass are good on Baby Bass 5-inch Senkos, Texas rigs and shad pattern lipless crankbaits. White bass are fair to good on live shad and slabs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live or dead shad.

FALCON: Water stained; 84-88 degrees; 29.95 feet low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and green tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are very good on frozen shrimp under birds. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

TEXANA: Water stained; 79-85 degrees; 0.10 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on split shot rigged watermelon/red flukes, Texas rigs and small swimbaits. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water stained; 78-82 degrees; 0.97 feet low. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged watermelon soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are good on slabs and white striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows and pink tube jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on stinkbait and nightcrawlers.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water stained. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastic worms and blue/green crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers, cut bait, and hot dogs.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water stained; 82-86 degrees; 0.07 feet high. Black bass are good on red shad, purple or watermelon red soft plastic worms, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits in 3-10 feet. Smallmouth bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows in 20 feet. Bream are very good on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are very good on shad and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water murky; 80-84 degrees; 0.01 feet high. Black bass are fair on watermelon soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on pet spoons, trolling tubes, and Charlie slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on cut bait and shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 81-85 degrees; 4.79 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Bream are good on worms. Catfish are slow.

STEINHAGEN: 0.30 feet low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water murky; 80-84 degrees; 0.36 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on silver slabs and Li'l Fishies. White bass are fair on minnows and small spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and chartreuse tube jigs over baited holes. Bream are fair on crickets and nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait and stinkbait in 20-30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 74-79 degrees; 34.82 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged 7-inch Power Worms, Bandit 200s and finesse jigs. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 68-76 degrees; 78.20 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon/red flake Senkos, Texas rigs and white swimjigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 66-75 degrees; 46.68 feet low. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs and crankbaits. No reports on smallmouth bass. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream are fair to good on cut nightcrawlers and kernel corn. Channel catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake and 77 degrees, stained up the river and 79 degrees; 0.67 feet low. Black bass are slow on crankbaits and topwater. Crappie are fair at night on minnows. Catfishing are slow on live perch and cut bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 74-83 degrees; 0.14 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on topwaters early, Texas rigs and shad pattern swimjigs. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: Water stained; 73-81 degrees; 10.90 feet low. Black bass are fair to good Texas rigged 7-inch blue fleck Power Worms, jigs and medium running crankbaits. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 75-83 degrees; 0.96 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigged Yum Dingers, chatterbaits and DT 10s. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs around deeper structure. Catfish are good on live and cut shad.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 76-84 degrees; 0.07 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on Zara Spooks early, Texas rigged pumpkinseed worms and shakyheads. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows and jigs around deeper structure. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers, live and cut shad.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 74-83 degrees; 0.85 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigged creature baits, medium running crankbaits and shakyheads. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and live minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 74-82 degrees; 0.33 feet high. Black bass are fair on squarebill crankbaits, Texas rigs and drop shot rigs. Crappie are fair on split shot rigged live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers, live and cut shad.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 74-83 degrees; 7.54 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Zara Spooks early, Texas rigged 7-inch Power Worms and Bama Bug Senkos. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are good on cut and live shad.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 73-81 degrees; 0.31 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on shakyhead rigged Trick Worms, Carolina rigged Devil's Tongues, jigs and DD22s. Crappie are fair to good on split shot rigged live minnows and jigs around deeper structure. White bass are fair to good on tail spinners and live shad. Striped bass are fair to good on live shad and Sassy Shad. Catfish are good on live or dead shad and nightcrawlers.

SPENCE: Water off color; 74-83 degrees; 32.81 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on Texas rigs, Mardi Gras Yum Dingers and chatterbaits. Crappie are fair to good on live minnows. Catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to murky; 74-82 degrees; 2.35 feet high. Black bass are fair to good on shakyheads, Texas rigged Baby Brush Hogs and Bandit 200s. Crappie are fair to good on split live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs and live shad. Blue catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 73-82 degrees; 0.16 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 71-79 degrees; 19.15 feet low. Black bass are fair to good on shakyheads, Texas rigs and white chatterbaits. Crappie are fair to good on split shot rigged live minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish are good under rafts of shad on topwaters. Trout are good while working deep shell on plastics.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters. Sheepshead are good on live shrimp tight to the rocks.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on topwaters and shrimp. Sand trout are fair to good on shrimp in the Intracoastal. Trout are good in the surf on topwaters and live shrimp.

TRINITY BAY: Most of the bay remains fresh water.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum Lil Johns, Gamblers, Down South Lures and Bass Assassins. Trout are good on the south shoreline on topwaters and plastics.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout, sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Redfish are good in the back lakes and along the beach. Red snapper is good offshore.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are good on the reefs and in the channel on live shrimp and croakers. Redfish and sand trout are fair to good in Moses Lake on shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout, redfish and Spanish mackerel are fair to good on shrimp at the jetties. Trout, redfish, sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Red snapper and kingfish are good offshore.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are good for drifters on live shrimp over mid-bay reefs. Trout are fair on the shorelines for waders. Redfish are fair along the reefs on the Intracoastal on live shrimp.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair to good on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are fair on topwaters and live shrimp in Oyster Lake.

PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and redfish are good on topwaters and live bait over sand, grass and shell in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp. Trout are good while wading shorelines near the jetty.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair to good in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on mullet in the deep guts on the outgoing tide.

PORT ARANSAS: Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Redfish are fair to good on the East Flats and around Dagger Island on shrimp and Gulps. Red snapper, kingfish and ling are good offshore.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Trout are good along the deep channels on croakers.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good on topwaters worked over shallow rocks. Trout are good on for waders working plastics and croakers over sand and grass. Redfish are good on the flats in knee-deep water on small topwaters.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters on the edge of the channel and around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while wading shallow flats on small topwaters and Gulps. Offshore is good for red snapper, kingfish and ling.

SOUTH PADRE: Redfish are fair to good around Gas Well Flats and South Bay on shrimp and DOA Shrimp. Trout are good on Super Spooks, Gulps and live shrimp behind spoils and while wading sand and grass flats.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Trout are good on the deeper edges and flats in Laguna Vista and Airport Cove on topwaters and live shrimp. Trout are good in the surf on live bait.
