CENTRAL

AUSTIN: Water lightly stained; 48-57 degrees; 0.52 feet low. Black bass are slow on jigs, Texas rigs and spoons. Sunfish are slow on cut nightcrawlers and corn. Catfish are fair on cut and live baitfish.

BASTROP: Water stained; 56-60 degrees. Black bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps and chartreuse jigs. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on stinkbait and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 3.95 feet high. Black bass are good on watermelon spinnerbaits and trolling Rat-L-Traps. Hybrid striper are fair on live shad. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night in 30 feet. Channel and blue catfish are good on stinkbait, summer sausage, and hot dogs. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water murky; 52-56 degrees; 0.28 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse jigs, crankbaits, and watermelon worms in 10-25 feet. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on Li'l Fishies and minnows over brush piles in 10-25 feet. Channel catfish are good on stinkbait, minnows and frozen shrimp in 10-20 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

BUCHANAN: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 1.95 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse/black Rat-L-Traps and white grubs on jigheads over deeper rock piles along ledges and points in 8-20 feet. Striped bass are good drifting live shad in 28-40 feet. White bass are fair jigging Tiny Traps and Pirk Minnows. Crappie are fair on live minnows over brush piles. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

CANYON LAKE: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 0.67 feet high. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastic worms, perch colored spinnerbaits, and shallow running chartreuse crankbaits over 5-10 feet. Striped bass are fair on jigging spoons and silver striper jigs. White bass are fair on minnows and Li'l Fishies. Smallmouth bass are good on red grubs and smoke/red flake tubes on jigheads. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

COLEMAN: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.07 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon and dark red soft plastics, Rat-L-Traps, and crankbaits. Hybrid striper are fair on chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water murky. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged soft plastics and Rat-L-Traps. Channel and blue catfish are slow.

GRANBURY: Water murky; 52-56 degrees; 0.08 feet low. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastics, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Striped bass are fair on silver spoons. White bass are fair on silver spoons. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp and stinkbait.

GRANGER: Water murky; 51-55 degrees; 0.08 feet high. Black bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 4.58 feet low. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed crankbaits and yellow/white spinnerbaits over and around humps. Striped bass are slow. White bass are good on silver Pirk Minnows and Spoiler Shads in the channel. Crappie are fair on minnows and blue/white tube jigs. Channel catfish are fair on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow and blue catfish are slow.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 0.41 feet high. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on black/chartreuse, and watermelon jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 0.21 feet high. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed spinnerbaits and soft plastics. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are good on frozen shad and shrimp. Yellow catfish are slow.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 5.00 feet high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE HOLLOW: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 2.77 feet high. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastic worms and small crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Carp are fair on corn. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water murky; 53-57 degrees; 0.89 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse/black crankbaits and spinnerbaits in 25-35 feet. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows and Li'l Fishies around docks. Crappie are good on minnows and pink/white tube jigs. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water murky. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are fair on silver striper jigs in coves. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on red wigglers. Channel and blue catfish are good on nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 0.53 feet low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are slow.

NORTHEAST

ATHENS: Water clear; 48-52 degrees; 0.46 feet high. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits, weightless Senkos and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BENBROOK: Water stained; 47-50 degrees; 0.72 feet high. Black bass are fair on Carolina rigged worms, shakeyhead worms and bladed jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BOB SANDLIN: Water lightly stained; 48-53 degrees; 0.15 feet high. Black bass are good on bladed jigs, lipless crankbaits and football jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

BONHAM: Water stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.10 feet low. Black bass are fair on squarebill crankbaits, suspending jerkbaits, and shakeyhead worms. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

BRIDGEPORT: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees: 0.08 feet high. Black bass are fair on suspending jerkbaits, shakeyhead worms and spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

CADDO: Water lightly stained; 49-53 degrees; 1.85 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, lipless crankbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are fair on jigs and minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

CEDAR CREEK: Water lightly stained; 47-50 degrees, 0.01 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakeyhead worms, lipless crankbaits and medium crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are good on slabs.

COOPER: Water stained; 48-52 degrees; 0.07 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, small plastic swimbaits and weightless Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows. Hybrid striper and white bass are fair on slabs.

EAGLE MOUNTAIN: Water lightly stained; 47-51 degrees; 0.29 feet high. Black bass are good on shakeyhead worms, spinnerbaits, and bladed jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

FAIRFIELD: Water lightly stained. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged worms, bladed jigs and lipless crankbaits. No report on other species.

FORK: Water lightly stained; 47-51 degrees; 0.22 feet low. Black bass are fair on Billy Dyson rigs, bladed jigs, and jigs on timber around channel swings. White and yellow bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs near bridges. Catfish are good on trotlines.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 46-49 degrees; 0.75 feet high. Black bass are fair on shallow crankbaits, shakeyhead worms and Texas rig craws. White bass and hybrid bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

JOE POOL: Water stained to muddy; 46-50 degrees; 0.39 feet low. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, Texas rigged craws and shakeyhead worms. White bass are good on slabs and crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

LAKE O' THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 49-53 degrees: 2.66 feet high. Black bass are good on bladed jigs, lipless crankbaits and football jigs. White bass are good on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and rod and reel.

LAVON: Water stained to muddy; 48-51 degrees: 0.24 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigged craws, lipless crankbaits and spinnerbaits. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

LEWISVILLE: Water stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.35 feet high. Black bass are good on weightless Senkos, suspending jerkbaits and shakeyhead worms. White bass are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

MARTIN CREEK: Water lightly stained; 75-81 degrees; 0.18 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged craws, weightless Senkos and spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows. White bass are fair on slabs and crankbaits. Catfish are good on trotlines.

MONTICELLO: Water stained; 47-50 degrees; 2.50 feet low. Black bass are slow on bladed jigs, lipless crankbaits and Texas rigged craws. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on trotlines and prepared bait.

PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 46-51 degrees; 0.39 feet high. Black bass are fair on shakeyhead worms, spinnerbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. Hybrid striper are fair on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Catfish are fair on trotlines and prepared bait.

RAY HUBBARD: Water lightly stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.14 feet low. Black bass are fair on suspending jerkbaits, Texas rigged craws and lipless crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water lightly stained; 46-50 degrees; 0.13 feet high. Black bass are fair on bladed jigs, shakeyhead worms and Texas rigged craws. White bass are good on slabs. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs Catfish are fair on trotlines.

TAWAKONI: Water stained to muddy; 47-51 degrees; 0.27 feet high. Black bass are good on bladed jigs, Texas rigged creature baits and spinnerbaits. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Hybrid bass are good on slabs. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

TEXOMA: Water stained to muddy; 46-49 degrees; 1.60 feet low. Black bass are good on umbrella rigs, shakeyhead worms and suspending jerkbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Striped bass are good on slabs. Catfish are good on trotlines.

WEATHERFORD: Water stained; 46-49 degrees; 0.13 feet low. Black bass are fair on shakyhead worms, spinnerbaits and weightless Senkos. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water stained; 48-54 degrees; 8.05 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigged creature baits, lipless crankbaits and bladed jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on trotlines.

SOUTH

AMISTAD: Water murky; 58-62 degrees; 23.97 feet low. Black bass are good on slabs, crankbaits, and soft plastic worms. Striped bass are fair on slabs, crankbaits, and grubs. White bass are fair on slabs and crankbaits. Catfish are fair on shrimp, nightcrawlers, chicken livers, and cheesebait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water murky. Black bass are good on crankbaits and dark soft plastic worms in the reeds and near the dam. Striped bass are good on liver and shad at Dead Tree Point, and down rigging silver and gold spoons and marble spinners near the dam. Redfish are slow. Channel catfish are good on liver, shrimp, cheesebait, and cut bait near the spillway. Blue catfish are good on cut bait.

CALAVERAS: Water murky. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits near the dam. Striped bass are slow. Redfish are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on liver, shrimp, and cheesebait near the railroad trestle. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water murky; 57-61 degrees; 13.90 feet low. Black bass are good on watermelon crankbaits, spinnerbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair on minnows upriver. Crappie are slow. Drum are fair on live worms. Channel and blue catfish are good on punchbait in 2-7 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLETO CREEK: Water stained; 55 degrees in the main lake, 87 degrees at the hot water discharge, 67-71 degrees in main lake; 0.36 feet high. Black bass are fair on soft plastics and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on shrimp and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

CORPUS CHRISTI LAKE: Water off color; 57-65 degrees; 0.27 feet high. Black bass are fair on Texas rigs, shakyheads and jigs. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and live shad.

FALCON: Water murky; 56-60 degrees; 25.54 feet low. Black bass are good on pumpkinseed soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on shrimp and cut bait. Yellow catfish are slow. Everyone in a boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

TEXANA: Water stained; 53-63 degrees; 0.25 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

SOUTHEAST

CONROE: Water murky; 55-59 degrees; 0.11 feet high. Black bass are good on chartreuse soft plastics, crankbaits, and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are fair on chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are fair on liver and nightcrawlers.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water murky. Black bass are fair on pumpkinseed soft plastic worms, crankbaits, and Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are good on minnows. Catfish are good on live bait and chicken livers.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water murky; 54-58 degrees; 0.20 feet high. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits, green pumpkin spinnerbaits, and crankbaits in 8-15 feet. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on live minnows. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

LIVINGSTON: Water stained; 55-59 degrees; 0.03 feet high. Black bass are fair on green pumpkin spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Striped bass are fair on Rat-L-Traps and Charlie slabs. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water stained; 57-61 degrees; 10.18 feet high. Black bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastic worms and shallow running crankbaits. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Bream are fair on worms. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp, nightcrawlers, and stinkbait.

STEINHAGEN: 0.86 feet low. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 56-60 degrees; 0.30 feet low. Black bass are fair on watermelon red soft plastics, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles. Bream are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on chicken livers and doughbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

PANHANDLE

GREENBELT: Water off color; 36-42 degrees; 36.49 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakyheads and Texas rigs. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

MACKENZIE: Water stained; 37-43 degrees; 78.50 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers.

MEREDITH: Water fairly clear; 39-42 degrees; 49.25 feet low. No reports on black bass. No reports of smallmouth. There are a few reports of walleye being caught on live bait and artificials. Bream and channel catfish are being caught in limited numbers.

WEST

ALAN HENRY: Water clear main lake, stained up the river; 42-46 degrees; 5.22 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

ARROWHEAD: Water stained; 44-53 degrees; 0.04 feet low. Black bass are slow. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

COLORADO CITY: Water fairly clear; 46-52 degrees; 12.32 feet low. Black bass are slow on shakyheads and jigs. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and cut bait.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water stained; 43-51 degrees; 0.58 feet high. Black bass are slow on Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows around deeper structure. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 43-48 degrees; 0.18 feet high. Black bass are slow to fair on jigs and shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows and jigs. Catfish are fair to good on live and cut bait.

NASWORTHY: Water stained; 42-49 degrees; 0.61 feet low. Black bass are slow on drop shot rigs, Texas rigs and jigs. No reports on crappie. Catfish are fair to good on live bait and nightcrawlers.

OAK CREEK: Water stained; 43-50 degrees; 0.30 feet high. Black bass are slow on shakyheads. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water stained; 44-52 degrees; 16.70 feet low. Black bass are slow to fair on shakyheads, Texas rigs and jigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water fairly clear; 47-53 degrees; 0.02 feet high. Black bass are slow on jigs and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair on live minnows. White bass are fair to good on slabs. Striped bass are fair on live shad. Catfish are fair on live and cut bait.

SPENCE: 36.38 feet low. Black bass are slow. No report on crappie. Catfish are fair on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

STAMFORD: Water stained to muddy; 52-63 degrees; 0.76 feet high. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow to fair on live minnows. White bass are fair on slabs. Blue catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 56-64 degrees; 0.29 feet high. This lake is currently experiencing a fish kill due to golden alga. Biologists are monitoring the situation and will post updates as they become available. Fish populations have been substantially reduced by the golden alga blooms.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 43-49 degrees; 23.40 feet low. No reports on black bass. Crappie are slow on live minnows. Catfish are fair on cut and live bait.

COASTAL

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good on the Louisiana shoreline on topwaters and Corkies. Flounder are fair on jigs tipped with shrimp around marsh drains. Redfish are good in the Bessie Heights marsh.

SOUTH SABINE: Redfish are good on Down South Lures in 2-4 feet of water over clam shell. Sheepshead and black drum are good at the jetty on live shrimp. Trout are fair to good around Lighthouse Cove on plastics and Gulps.

BOLIVAR: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on soft plastics and plugs. Black drum and redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Trout are fair while drifting deep shell.

TRINITY BAY: Redfish are fair at the spillway on shrimp. Catfish are good in the marsh on shrimp.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good on the south shoreline on Corkies, MirrOlures and soft plastics. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are fair to good for drifters working shell on live shrimp. Trout are fair in the mud and shell on Corkies in the afternoon while wading. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs.

TEXAS CITY: Black drum are good in the channel on crabs. Sand trout and whiting are good from the piers on fresh shrimp.

FREEPORT: Bull redfish are good on the beachfront on sardines. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs. Trout are fair on soft plastics in the harbor.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are good for drifters on Bass Assassins, Down South Lures and Gamblers over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the shell on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet. Redfish are fair in the middle of the bay on Gulps under a cork.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair over sand and grass on soft plastics. Redfish are good while wading guts on gold spoons. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of Oyster Lake on shrimp.

PORT O'CONNOR: Trout and redfish are fair on plastics over soft mud in waist-deep water in San Antonio Bay. Trout and redfish are fair for drifters working the back lakes with live shrimp.

ROCKPORT: Redfish are fair on the Estes Flats on mullet in sand pockets. Black drum are good in the Lydia Ann Channel on crabs. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp.

PORT ARANSAS: Redfish are fair to good at East Flats on shrimp. Black drum are good in the Shrimpboat Channel on crabs and finger mullet. Redfish, black drum and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Black drum are good in the Humble Channel on crabs and table shrimp.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are fair while wading mud and grass on Corkies, Gamblers and Soft Dines. Black drum are good in the Land Cut on crabs.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are fair to good on Corkies, Gamblers, Norton Sand Shad and Bass Assassins around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes on Gulps and shrimp.

SOUTH PADRE: Trout are good around the spoil islands, channel edges and color changes on DOA Shrimp and Norton Sand Shad. Black drum, sheepshead and redfish are fair at the jetty on shrimp.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good at Gas Well Flats on live shrimp. Redfish are fair on the flats on Gulps and soft plastics under rattling corks.
