WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A man already serving a life sentence in Texas for murder has received another life sentence for a fatal shooting in Florida.

The Palm Beach Post reports 36-year-old Juan Miguel Andrade was sentenced Wednesday after pleading guilty to murder in Palm Beach County.

Authorities say Andrade shot and killed Martir Tejada Escobar in Lake Worth Beach in May 2002. Andrade previously wrote to the court saying he had killed at least 10 people and that he hoped for a death sentence.

Andrade was charged in Texas in 2015 with the fatal shootings of a relative and another man. Texas Department of Criminal Justice records show he's eligible for parole in 2045.
