Texas LNG Receives Green Light for Gas Line
BROWNSVILLE – Texas LNG now has the green light to set up a liquefied natural gas line through South Texas.
The U.S. Coast Guard, the Department of Transportation and Department of Defense granted Texas LNG the necessary letters of recommendation for the Federal Energy and Regulatory Commission.
The company is on track for FERC permitting for a Brownsville facility by 2019.
If approved, production of the LNG would start in 2023.
