LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) - A southeastern Oklahoma man has drowned after he was swept away from his stalled truck by floodwaters from severe storms that hit the state and other parts of the U.S. South. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said Saturday that Randall Hyatt was in his Chevy pickup near Kiowa, Oklahoma, when he drove into deep floodwaters, causing his vehicle to become inoperable. The 58-year-old was overrun by rushing water after exiting his truck. His body was found Saturday morning about 100 yards away from his vehicle. The death toll from the storms stands at ten.
