DONNA – A thief broke into a church in Donna Thursday night.

The door was shattered at City of Refuge Church, according to parishioners who made the discovery.

They tell us the thief broke the door in order to get in and steal the church’s surround system they use for service.

We’re told this is the second time the church is targeted.

The Hidalgo County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the case.
