INGLESIDE – Rio Grande Valley crews are lending a helping hand in Ingleside. The town is about 20 minutes away from Corpus Christi.

McAllen and Hidalgo County crews are equipped with backhoes, plus brush and dump trucks to help clear debris. They’ll first be in Ingleside, then in Fulton and Aransas Pass.

All three areas were hit hard when Hurricane Harvey made landfall late Friday.

The group will also be tackling water and sewer repairs.
