SOUTH PADRE ISLAND — It’s a business passed down from generation to generation. For more than 50 years, Captain Murphy’s Charter Service has helped people catch their meal for the day.

“Everyday is different, everyday you meet new people every single day from all over the country. Some of them from all over the world,” said Patrick Murphy, the owner.

It’s not just a fishing charter, they bring a little joy to customers by offering a socially distanced dolphin watch.

The business is located at 33256 State Park Road 100 in South Padre Island. It’s open from everyday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
