LAS VEGAS - WAC tournament play is underway in Las Vegas for the teams of UTRGV.  Hopes seemed highest for the women to make a run after two straight appearances in the conference championship game.  That was not to be after the Vaqueros lost to UMKC in the tourney opener on Wednesday.  We have highlights from Joel Villanueva and post-game reaction from Brandon Ortega.
