KRGV-TV5 in Weslaco, Texas has the following vacancy: 

KRGV-TV, the ABC affiliate in the beautiful Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, is currently seeking:  

Full Time Copy Coordinator                 

 

To assist in the scheduling of advertising on KRGV CHANNEL 5, KRGV 5.2 AZTECA VALLE, and KRGV 5.3 SOMOS EL VALLE.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• • To accurately input commercial instructions for broadcast TV orders secured by
•                local, national, and regional sellers.
• • Ensure commercials are received and downloaded by deadline for proper airing of
•                commercials.
• • Work closely within the KRGV Sales Department and businesses, production
•                houses, and advertising agencies in a professional manner.
• • Work closely with Account Executives and other staff to ensure that all commercial
•                instructions have been received.
• • Crosstrain with the Traffic and Programming Coordinator to assist in managing all
•                programming and traffic responsibilities.
• • Efficiently learn Traffic and Programming software including OSI.
• • Provide additional administrative duties as requested.
•  

REQUIREMENTS:

• • Strong customer service-oriented communication skills both verbally and
•    electronically. This position will communicate with hundreds of contacts via email on a
•    weekly basis.
• • Detailed oriented, able to input data with the goal of 100% accuracy
• • Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a team
