1 In Custody Following Drug Bust at Pharr International Bridge
PHARR – A failed smuggling attempt led to the arrest of a Mexican national at the Pharr International Bridge.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection say the 26-year-old woman was found trying to smuggle 10 packages of cocaine in her vehicle on Wednesday.
A press release sent out by the agency, states the drugs are worth more than $180,000 in street value.
