2 People Hospitalized after Downtown McAllen Shooting
MCALLEN – Authorities are at the scene of shooting that left two injured in McAllen.
The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. in a home along 19 1/2 Street. The street is located west of Bicentennial Blvd.
Upon their arrival, police found a person with a gunshot wound to the stomach. The family told authorities two people were struggling with a gun and it went off. The other person’s hand was also injured.
Fire officials said both were taken to a hospital. Their condition is unknown.
There is no word if any charges will be filed.
