ALTO BONITO – Authorities are on the lookout for suspects who allegedly operated an illegal eight-liner game room in Starr County.
They say the owners ran away from the property during a raid.
The Starr County Special Crimes Unit confiscated cash and the motherboards for 66 illegal gambling machines at the establishment located near Mikes 15th Street and El Coyote Road
Rio Grande City Police Chief Noe Castillo says they’ll keep pursuing these misdemeanor crimes because he’s watched illegal game rooms lead to bigger problems.
