Border Patrol Warns Potential Migrants about Smuggling Dangers, Threats
WESLACO – Border Patrol has issued a warning to potential migrants – ‘Don’t Risk Your Life’.
Officials say crimes, such as rape and sexual assault, are often committed by smugglers.
One mother, who traveled from El Salvador to the U.S. border with her two children, tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS about the threats made to her by a smuggler.
Border Patrol officials say these testimonial videos are sent out to consulates in Mexico and throughout Central America in hopes to get the message across to save lives.
