Cameron Co. Offering Free Assistance for Flood Victims
WESLACO – Several relief agencies are offering free assistance for all Valley residents in need of help cleaning up.
Cameron County has replaced their phone bank with the 800 number. People can use to get in contact with volunteers beginning on Saturday, June 30.
Emergency Management Coordinator Tom Hushen says it’s free and there isn’t a financial qualification.
The help will be given on a first come first serve basis.
The hotline will connect Valley flood victims to reputable and vetted relief agencies.
If you’re in need, call 1-800-451-1954.
KRGV’s Trason Bragg explains how you can get help.
