CBP Reminds About Plant and Flower Restrictions
WESLACO – Customs and Border Protection is reminding people about flower and plant restrictions with Valentine’s Day coming up.
CBP says there are certain flowers or plants that can’t be brought across the border.
The goal is to keep harmful pests and disease from being imported.
CBP says this coming week is one of the busiest for agricultural specialists who monitor shipments.
