CBP Seize $2.5M in Meth at Hidalgo Port of Entry
HIDALGO - A 26-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after being caught with more than $2.5 million worth of meth.
CBP officers at the Hidalgo International Bridge said a woman from Kansas City failed to stop at an inspection booth. They checked her SUV and found 24 packages containing more than 129 pounds of meth.
CBP confiscated the narcotics and vehicle. The woman was arrested and turned over to HSI for further investigation.
