City of Mission Issues Lawn Mowing Liens to Make Sure Residents Take Care of Grass
MISSION- City officials in Mission are issuing lawn mowing liens to ensure residents are taking care of their grass.
Right now, more than one million dollars is owed in unpaid mowing liens.
Every time the city has to mow someone's overgrown lot, they can charge anywhere from 50 to more than 200 dollars, plus a 100 dollar administration fee.
The city is currently holding an amnesty program to pay off those bills, while avoiding the extra administration cost.
