SOUTH PADRE ISLAND – For 22-years people at South Padre Island have been doing what they call 'the polar bear dip.'

Hundreds of people run head first into the cold waters of the Gulf of Mexico.

They all gather at Clayton's Bar and Grill at South Padre Island.
