Discovery Made by Mexican Military Could Signal Crime from Cartels
NUEVA CD. GUERRERO, Mex. – A discovery by the Mexican military could be a sign of more distress in our border country.
Several boxes full of camouflage outerwear were found in Nueva Cd. Guerrero, a border town that sits on the other side of Falcon Lake.
Officials seized 61 jackets, 147 pairs of pants and 136 shirts.
According to a press release, the Cartel Del Noreste is present in that area.
A former FBI agent tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS the location is strategic since it is near Miguel Aleman, which is known for smuggling.
