Driver in Deadly Harlingen Hit-and-Run Turns Themselves In
UPDATE (11:40 A.M.): Harlingen police said the driver in the fatal hit-and-run turned themselves Wednesday morning. The male driver is expected to be arraigned on Thursday.
Harlingen police identified the victim as 52-year-old Jeffrey Wall.
HARLINGEN – Police in Harlingen are searching for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run. A vehicle hit a man who was walking on the 900 block of West Tyler Tuesday night.
Police responded to the scene around 9:30 p.m. They saw the man’s body lying on the road.
Officer Larry Moore told CHANNEL 5 NEWS investigators found the vehicle involved. It’s now in their custody.
Police haven’t released the victim’s name yet, pending notifying his next of kin. CHANNEL 5 NEWS is working to get more details.
