Edcouch-Elsa ISD Blames Glitch for Payroll Delay
EDCOUCH – A computer glitch caused paycheck delays for hundreds of Edcouch-Elsa Independent School District employees.
The district told CHANNEL 5 NEWS all payments should be sent out by the end of the day.
About 400 employees received their money late.
The superintendent says the glitch did not allow the data file to be transferred from the district to the bank.
Edcouch-Elsa ISD says they are working on the problem to avoid future problems.
