Fatal Home Fire Under Investigation in Mission
A fire that claimed the lives of three people remains under investigation in Mission.
According to investigators, the flames broke out around 2:00 Sunday morning off Karen Street.
Firefighters and the Hidalgo County Sheriff's Office pulled several people from the home.
A 37-year-old woman, 15-year-old male and a 5-year-old boy lost their lives in the blaze.
Hidalgo County Fire Investigator, J.D. Franz said the fire is believed to have started in the living room.
The home did not have any smoke detectors inside.
