Form to Help San Benito Police with Information for Missing People with Disabilities
SAN BENITO – A proactive push aimed at protecting residents with special needs in San Benito.
A new form created by a police sergeant is to give investigators a head start in the event a person with disabilities is reported missing.
The form asks for a photo, diagnosis and emergency contacts.
“We'll have all of that on that form. So we'll be able to contact the family right away. We won't be having to go knocking door to door, we won't post it on Facebook – you know? We'll have all of that communication right there on the form, with us,” said Sgt. Elizabeth Cantu.
The forms are currently available at the San Benito Police Department.
