BROWNSVILLE – Health officials are warning about the Zika virus despite the decrease in number of cases in Cameron County.
Only four people in Cameron County have tested positive for the virus this year – last year 24 people tested positive.
As temperatures get warmer, more people use pools to stay cool.
The Cameron County health administrator says unfiltered pools that go unused attract more mosquitoes because the water is stagnant.
