Hidalgo Co. Receiving Funds for Areas Affected by 2015 Flood
WESLACO – More money is coming to help areas affected by flooding back in 2015.
The funds were added to a state action plan late last month. More than $23 million was allocated to recovery efforts for the most impacted and devastated communities including Hidalgo County.
The money would go towards housing and infrastructure projects.
The Texas General Land Office is taking public comments to see specifically how the funds are needed and would be used.
