Hidalgo County on Friday reported two coronavirus-related deaths and 29 positive cases of COVID-19.
A woman in her 40s from Donna and a woman in her 60s from Pharr died as a result of the virus, according to the Hidalgo County Health and Human Services Department.
Of the new cases reported Friday, 14 are confirmed, 12 are probable and three are suspect.
