PHARR – This is supposed to be a school where they send students who get in trouble at their campus. Some only expect more trouble from them.

At Buell Central High School in Pharr, they could just end up being the next environmental experts.

Some of the students are working on a system on clean up oil spills in the ocean and waterways.

They’re turning restaurant grease into fuel for diesel vehicles such as military hummers.

Students are learning to create solar-powered ice chests for those times when the power goes out during hurricanes.

The principal, Mario Bracamontes, says he doesn't believe in discipline, he believes in structure.
