Man Accused of Killing 21-Year-Old Set for Trial
EDINBURG – A trial is set for a murder suspect.
Victor Lee Alfaro is accused of shooting and killing Reynaldo Reyes in 2016.
Edinburg Police Department believed Alfaro was part of a gang.
On the morning of May 4, police responded to the 700 block of 4th Avenue, near the intersection of Sprague Road and Sugar Road, where they found Reyes.
He died at the hospital a short time later.
At the time, police told CHANNEL 5 NEWS that Alfaro threatened witnesses with a gun.
His trial is scheduled for February.
