Man Charged in Connection with Stolen AR-15
UPDATE (8/16): Ricardo Vera has been charged in connection with the theft of an AR-15.
Alamo Police Chief Baudelio Castillo says Vera knowingly purchased the stolen rifle from former officer Jesus Angel Ramirez.
Investigators say Ramirez resigned in 2014, at around the same time the weapon went missing.
ALAMO – Alamo police have arrested a man who allegedly paid for a stolen department weapon.
The 46-year-old is accused of buying an AR-15 and reselling it in Mexico.
He will be arraigned Thursday.
