Man Hospitalized after Crashing into 2 Churches in San Juan
UPDATE (7/4): Clean-up efforts are underway in the area near the San Juan Basilica.
The Diocese of Brownsville Catholic Pastoral Center now has a gaping hole through it after an SUV drove through it on Tuesday.
San Juan police say the 40-year-old driver suffered non-life threatening injuries.
SAN JUAN – A Rio Grande Valley man was taken to the hospital Tuesday after being involved in an accident.
The man lost control of the vehicle and crashed into two churches in San Juan.
The conference rooms in one church were severely damaged.
San Juan Police Chief Juan Gonzalez says the driver recently donated plasma and felt dizzy while driving.
