Mercedes Resident Wants County to Pump out Floodwater
MERCEDES – Several Rio Grande Valley residents still have water flooded on their property.
A Mercedes woman says the stagnant water is keeping her family from cleaning out the house and it’s also keeping them from much needed supplies.
She explains the water is mixed with sewage and it flooded her house about three feet high.
She claims she's called her precinct to report the problem but she hasn't seen any county vehicles.
