Mission Man Faces Charges After Hitting Officer with Car
MISSION – A Mission man is facing several charges after hitting an officer with a car.
Twenty-seven year old Emmanuel Perez is charged with aggravated assault against a public servant and evading arrest.
Investigators said back on Aug. 8, Perez tried to rob the HEB on the corner of 495 and Conway Avenue.
Officers found him inside his car and when he tried to take off, he hit one of the officers on the leg.
Perez was caught a short time later.
His trial is expected to begin a week from Wednesday, on Oct. 11.
