BROWNSVILLE – A Brownsville woman is back in jail for reaching out to a high school girl she’s accused of kidnapping back in September.

Claudia Guerra, 30, was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Wednesday on charges of violating her bond conditions.

Guerra was arrested in September on charges of aggravated kidnapping for allegedly picking up a 14-year-old girl from Porter High School and taking her into Mexico.

According to police, Guerra met the girl while coaching her in a kickball league. At that time, she was given a $200,000 bond.

She made bail but was ordered not to contact the girl.

On Thursday she went before Municipal Judge Valerie Garcia, who gave her a bond of $250,000. She ordered that Guerra wear a GPS monitoring device if she posts bail again.
