Police Asking Drivers to Beware with Classes Back in Session
BROWNSVILLE – Police are asking drivers to slow down near school zones.
Brownsville Police spokesman J.J. Trevino says speeding will not be tolerated.
Trevino says passing a school bus that is signaling drivers to stop is illegal, as well as texting while driving.
“Just be aware that obviously there's going to be a lot more traffic… Make sure you give yourself enough time when you are dropping off your kids," say Trevino.
