Repairs Made After Gas Service Line Hit
WESLACO--The Texas Gas Service said repairs were made after a contractor hit a gas service line on Business 83 in Weslaco.
According to the Weslaco fire department, city workers struck a natural gas line with a backhoe Saturday.
The Texas Gas Service said some gas escaped. The gas was turned off and the area was deemed safe for residents.
