Rio Grande City School Name Changes to Honor Devoted Educators
RIO GRANDE CITY – They were both born in Rio Grande City and graduated from Rio Grande City schools.
They also both devoted over 50 years of their lives as teachers with the Rio Grande City Consolidated Independent School District.
Now, there’s a school named after, husband and wife, Alberto and Celia Barrera.
