San Benito Resident Reacts to Fatal Chase in Neighborhood

A suspect killed in a fatal chase in Cameron County has been identified.
DPS Lt.Johnny Hernandez tells CHANNEL 5 NEWS 21-year-old Ricardo Trevino III fled when he was approached by a San Benito police officer.
Trevino eventually stopped north of Ranch Park Road.
Hernandez said Trevino drove towards a law enforcement vehicle, hitting it head-on, prompting officers to open fire.
CHANNEL 5's Frank McCaffrey spoke to a resident who lives half a block from were it all happened.
