San Juan Residents Seek Answers on Poor Drainage
SAN JUAN – Residents in San Juan want answers to the drainage issues.
Resident Manuel Galvan tells us for the last month, the city has been fixing leaking water lines all over the San Juan Housing Authority property.
KRGV’s John Paul Barajas spoke with San Juan City Manager Benjamin Arjona about the issue.
He says they’ve been actively assisting the housing authority with the water leaks.
"What we can assure them is that we have taken every single approach necessary to rectify if there's an issue with that water leak,” says Arjona.
The city plans to pump the standing water Wednesday to clear it for residents and to get a better look at the water line.
